What materials are Firedog Works apparel made from?

Our lineup covers every layer of the firehouse lifestyle. Everyday tees, tanks, and shirts are crafted from 100% airlume combed and ring-spun cotton (4.2–6.1 oz/yd²) — pre-shrunk and built to hold their shape wash after wash. Heavy-duty hoodies use an 8 oz 50/50 cotton/polyester blend with air-jet spun yarn for long-lasting comfort. Performance pieces — like our assault station shirts, freedom tank tops, and active shorts — are made from moisture-wicking polyester or polyester/spandex blends. Our women's line includes OEKO-TEX certified fabrics and GRS certified recycled materials where possible.

How do your garments fit? Should I size up or down?

Most of our core tees and shirts are designed as a regular retail fit — true to size. Our slim-fit pieces (like the Metcon T-Shirt) run fitted; we recommend sizing up if you're between sizes or prefer a relaxed feel. Our women's boxy station shirt is intentionally oversized. When in doubt, check the size chart on each product page or reach out — we'd rather help you get it right the first time.

Are these clothes durable enough for daily firehouse use?

Absolutely. Everything we make is designed with the demands of the firehouse in mind — long shifts, frequent washing, and hard use. Our heavier hoodies and station shirts are pre-shrunk and double-stitched. Moisture-wicking performance fabrics are built to handle training, PT, and shift wear. These aren't "wear once and hang" pieces — they're made to earn their place in the rotation.

How should I care for my Firedog Works gear?

  • Cotton and cotton-blend pieces: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Avoid high heat to protect graphics and print longevity.
  • Performance/polyester pieces: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Hang dry when possible to preserve moisture-wicking properties.
  • Hoodies: Turn inside out before washing to protect embroidery and prints.
  • Trucker hats: Spot clean or hand wash; do not machine wash.

Do you carry gear beyond apparel — like fitness accessories?

Yes. Firedog Works carries a full lineup of functional training accessories built for high-intensity work: weightlifting belts, 5mm knee and elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalkless grips, booty bands, and lifting straps. All sized and designed for athletes who train with purpose — especially those cross-training for fire academy or job performance standards.

What kind of supplements does Firedog Works carry?

Our supplement line is curated for first responders and serious athletes. We carry: whey and plant-based protein isolates (22g+ per serving), pre-workout and intra-workout powders, BCAAs + glutamine blends, creatine monohydrate, hydration and electrolyte powders, omega-3s, magnesium glycinate, sleep support formulas, joint support, and specialty performance supplements like NAD+, beetroot, and nitric oxide boosters. Every product is selected to support the physical and recovery demands of the job.

Are your supplements safe and third-party tested?

Our supplement partners are held to strict manufacturing standards. Our supplements are formulated to meet U.S. regulatory standards and all ingredients are listed transparently on each product page. As with any supplement, consult with your physician before use, especially if you are on duty medications or have existing health conditions.

Are the protein products allergen-friendly?

Our Advanced 100% Whey Protein Isolate contains dairy (whey). For those with dairy sensitivities, we offer a Plant Protein line using fava bean protein isolate and fermented yeast protein — allergen-free, 20g protein per serving, available in Vanilla and Chocolate. How should I use the pre-workout and BCAA products?

  • Pre-workouts (Nitric Shock, Energy Powder): Mix with 8–12 oz of cold water and consume 20–30 minutes before training. Do not exceed the recommended serving.
  • Intra-workout BCAAs/Hydration Powders: Mix with water and sip throughout your session to support endurance and recovery.
  • Post-workout BCAAs and protein: Consume within 30–60 minutes post-training for optimal muscle recovery.
  • Creatine: Take 1 serving daily, consistently — timing matters less than regularity.

Do you offer supplements specifically for sleep and recovery?

Yes — this is one of our most important categories. Firefighters deal with chronic sleep disruption, and we take that seriously. Our Sleep Support capsules combine magnesium citrate, melatonin, ashwagandha, L-theanine, GABA, chamomile, and 5-HTP. Our Sleep Formula includes valerian root, L-tryptophan, and passion flower. Can I ship directly to a fire station?

Yes — we ship to any valid US address, including fire stations. Just enter the station's address at checkout. We recommend using the station's full address with your name or apparatus designation in the address line to ensure smooth delivery. We only ship within the United States at this time.

How long will it take to receive my order?

All orders process within 1–2 business days, then ship based on the service selected:

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be unworn, unused, with tags still attached and in original packaging. To start a return, email info@firedogworks.store with your order number and reason — do not send items back without first contacting us.

Return shipping is on us. We'll provide a prepaid return label for all eligible returns within the United States.

How do I exchange an item for a different size or color?

We don't process direct exchanges — but the process is straightforward: return your original item, and once the return is accepted, place a new order for the correct size or color. This ensures you get exactly what you want without delays. Our team can guide you through the process at info@firedogworks.store.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Inspect your order upon delivery. If anything is defective, damaged, or wrong, contact us within 48 hours at info@firedogworks.store or +1 (954) 616-7342. In these cases, return shipping is always covered — no questions asked. We make it right, period.

Are any items non-returnable?

Yes, the following cannot be returned:

How long does a refund take?

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of approval. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the credit. If 15+ business days have passed since approval with no refund, contact us immediately.
