Terms and Conditions for Firedog Works App

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to the Firedog Works App. By downloading, accessing, or using this application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Firedog Works app. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the app or purchase a Firedog Pro subscription.

3. Medical & Fitness Disclaimer (READ CAREFULLY)

The Firedog Works app provides fitness tracking, workout logging, and training information designed for educational and informational purposes only.

  • Not Medical Advice: We are not medical professionals. Nothing in this app should be construed as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Assume the Risk: The fitness programs and workouts provided are physically demanding. You agree that you are voluntarily participating in these activities and assume all risk of injury, illness, or death. Always consult with a physician or healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, including saving your Personal Records (PRs) and accessing Firedog Pro, you must create an account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent behavior.
  • You may delete your account at any time by following the instructions in our Account Deletion Request page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Firedog Pro & Subscriptions

Certain features of the app are locked behind our premium tier, Firedog Pro.

  • Payments: Purchases and subscriptions are processed securely through our Shopify store integration. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the applicable billing terms.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

6. User-Generated Content

By submitting workout logs, scores, notes, or any other content to the app, you grant Firedog Works LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the app for community features such as leaderboards and activity feeds.

You retain ownership of your personal data. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not violate these Terms or the rights of any third party.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Firedog Works app only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the app's source code.
  • Use the app to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Attempt to bypass our security measures or paywalls.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users of the application.
  • Use the app for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and features within the app are the exclusive property of Firedog Works LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

9. App Store Compliance

This app is distributed through third-party app stores including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Additional terms from Apple Inc. or Google LLC may also apply to your use of this app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Firedog Works LLC and its owners, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the app. This includes, but is not limited to, physical injury, equipment damage, or data loss.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at info@firedogworks.store so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, both parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration on an individual basis.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the **State of California**, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes not resolved through arbitration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in **California**.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
